Brookside Gardens (Montgomery County)
Brookside Gardens, in central Montgomery County, is an excellent (and relatively inexpensive) location for wedding ceremonies. The gardens offer several beautiful outdoor locations, a glass-enclosed conservatory and a reception hall.
Owned and operated by the Montgomery County Department of Parks, Brookside Gardens is an unusually beautiful park for a municipally-run facility (much of the credit for the gardens success goes to an excellent group of volunteers). Outdoor ceremony spots include the Anderson Pavilion (very small groups of up to 25), the Wedding Gazebo (up to 125 standing attendees), the Japanese Tea House (up to 50 standing) and the Fragrance Garden (125 seated, 150 standing).
The Reception Hall was recently added and can seat up to 125 for a dinner. The hall looks out over the Brookside azalea gardens.
